The 4* Montado Hotel & Golf Resort is located on Portugal’s Costa Azul, 15 minutes from the city centre of Setubal and 35 minutes drive from Lisbon Airport.
The resort consists of a modern 4* hotel and the excellent 18-hole golf course, renowned for its 18th hole island green. For those that want to go and experience other golf courses, there are seven further golf courses less than 30 minutes’ drive away.
This modern resort, situated in a tranquil location, boasting an impressive, yet very playable 18-hole golf course on site. The property is surrounded by the regions best vineyards and offers a friendly service, with everything in one place, and provides guests with complimentary access to the spa facilities onsite (including large indoor pool).
The hotel’s restaurant, the All in One, offers a superb menu offering a great collaboration of regional and international cuisine, whilst the Pitch and Putt bar creates the perfect setting to enjoy a well-deserved beverage, both featuring great views over the golf course.
We recommend Montado for a great value relaxing golf escape – we were genuinely impressed with the set-up here, and feel the course is much under-rated.
