Where is Quinta do Lago?
Quinta do Lago North is located in the quaint yet established area of Quinta do Lago. Before or after your rounds at the Algarve’s finest courses, there are plenty of activities for a range of guests. You can enjoy the local bars, sporting activities, and the Quinta Shopping complex which is home to a great choice of restaurants and cafes.
The new layout has been built to the highest specification with an investment of 9 million Euros. All the tees, greens, bunkers, irrigation, drainage systems, and cart paths have been re-built using innovative technology. Players will have the choice of choosing from four tees on each hole which means accommodating players of all levels.
One hole that stands out and you will always remember playing is the 372 metre par four 12th, the hole doglegs around a large lake making for a tense tee shot and tricky shot into the green.
Buggies are advisable on Quinta North as there are a few long walks between green and the next tee. The North course is immaculate in its presentation, maybe not as much water as the South and Laranjal but it is definitely still one to add to the itinerary.
