The Samanah Golf Club is home to many signature holes you are sure not to forget, and one of which includes the short par 4 6th hole, which boasts an opportunity to utilise your skillset and score a birdie. However, the spacious water hazard lining the right-hand side of the narrow green may hinder your chances. Furthermore, the par 3 8th hole boasts an interesting landscape, with the golfer forced to play across a large area of sandy waste and scrub to a tilted green. The best hole on the back nine is most likely the 15th, where the approach shot must be long enough to carry across a wide gully situated a hundred yards away from the green.
The course also boasts a David Leadbetter golf academy, so if you've struggled on the course you can call in for a quick fix before getting back on the fairway. Despite this golf course offering a unique challenge, it also boasts wide fairways and there is minimal rough, therefore the more amateur players can rescue wayward shots with ease.
Caddies are compulsory in Morocco and on some courses that applies even if you hire a buggy. Fees are paid locally with the minimum amount being 100 Dirhams (£8.00) however if your caddy has done a good job then you are expected to pay 150 - 200 Dirhams. Please allow for this extra cost when you're planning your golf holiday to Morocco.
