The Belfry - PGA National
The PGA National Course at the Belfry was designed by Dave Thomas and opened for play in 1997.
It was the first course in Europe to carry PGA branding. It’s a tough, challenging golf course with an American feel with extensive mounding built to separate the fairways it was clearly built with tournament golf in mind. From the back tees the course measures 7053 yards, thankfully from the yellow tees it’s a more playable 6153 yards. To score well you’ll need to avoid the many hazards, water comes into play on 8 holes the greens are well protected by strategically placed bunkers
