Torrequebrada is located in the immensely popular Benalmadena region of the Costa Del Sol in Spain. This fantastic golf course is located just 20 minutes from Malaga Airport, and just minutes from the Beach.

Since it first opened in 1976 after its design by José Pepe Gancedo, Torrequebrada has been recognised as one of the most beautiful courses in the region. The course is tight but not unfairly so, and you need to be cautious of the swirling wind, trees, bunkers & water hazards while navigating through the 18 holes.

The Clubhouse at Torrequebrada is spectacular with panoramic views overlooking the course & the Mediterranean Sea, all while offering golfers excellent food and beverage options to enjoy following the round of golf.

Everything ran like clockwork, thanks to Golf Escapes.

La Cala Golf Resort, Spain, was just about the perfect venue for our latest golf trip. Just back at my desk after a four day trip. Everything ran like clockwork, thanks to Golf Escapes. The hotel, the spa and most importantly the three golf courses at La Cala were excellent. Each hole seems to have fantastic views and nearly every hole has a wow factor. I'm not sure who decided to design a golf course on such a plot of land but I'm glad they did. This might be the first place we will be returning to.

We had a great time.

Hotel, transfers & courses were very good. Our golf could have been better. My friend will be taking the reins for next year’s trip. We may extend by one day. Lauro was the easiest, Chaparral was fantastic but a bit tough for some of our higher handicappers. Torrequebrada was probably our favourite. Hotel was excellent. Staff & food/drink were good. The shuttle company were excellent.
