About the Professional

Neil Evans, Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club

I have been a PGA Golf Professional for nearly 30 years. My career has taken me to some fantastic clubs & resorts across Europe including The Warwickshire and Ingon Manor Hotel Golf & Country Club in The UK. In Germany I was the Head Teaching Professional at The Mizuno Training Academy at Golf Club Husumer Bucht and in Portugal was Teaching Professional at Pinheiros Altos Golf Club on the Algarve. For the last 11 years I have been Head Professional at the renowned Desert Springs Resort & Golf Club in Southern Spain and whilst I still teach at Desert Springs I have now taken a step back to concentrate on my golf holidays. My friendly, relaxed teaching style is ideally suited these holidays and my clients seem to really enjoy my lessons and the opportunities it gives them to improve and get more enjoyment from their games.
I have running both golf tuition and hosted golf holidays since 2001 and these breaks are where my real passion lies. I have visited some incredible places and met and worked with some fantastic people over the years of running holidays. I look forward to many more within my new association with Golf Escapes.
