Championship Course at the Royal Zoute Golf Club

The Championship Course at the Royal Zoute Golf Club is Belgium’s premier golf course, with a par of 72 and located just 25 minutes from Bruges. Designed by the legendary Harry Colt in 1907, the course has a glowing reputation and has matured into one of the best links style courses in Europe.
Resembling a traditional English golf course it features cleverly protected greens and undulating fairways, generous in size and stature, yet the various contours and hummocks can drop your ball in the most unexpected places. The strong winds are a predominant force on this stunning course and proves to be one of the biggest obstacles to tackle against. Playing host to the Belgian Open for a number of years the course has hosted some of the all-time greats, including Henry Cotton and Arnold Palmer. With no weak holes it is no wonder why Nick Faldo once described this course as a “hidden gem”. The Championship course is a superb natural links course and will please all lovers of the game.
