Druids Heath Course
Druids Heath is the wilder and more exposed of the two courses at Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort.
While neighbouring Druids Glen is known for its immaculate parkland setting, colourful planting and polished championship pedigree, Druids Heath has a more rugged character, with rolling countryside, natural rock formations and far-reaching views towards the Irish Sea and Wicklow Mountains.
For golfers planning Ireland golf holidays, it is a particularly appealing addition to a stay in Dublin and East Ireland, offering a more windswept and natural test of golf within easy reach of the capital.
- Druids Glen championship course also on site
- Five-star luxury spa hotel on site

About Druids Heath Golf Course
Designed by Pat Ruddy and opened in 2003, Druids Heath makes the most of its natural setting.
The landscape is more open and exposed than Druids Glen, with gorse, streams, lakes, rock formations and strategically placed bunkers all coming into play.
The coastal breeze is part of the challenge and can quickly change the way the course plays from one day to the next. Golfers need to think carefully about club selection and shot placement, particularly when the wind picks up. It is a course that rewards a little imagination as well as accuracy.
The views are another highlight. From different points around the course, golfers can look out towards the Irish Sea, across the Wicklow countryside and inland towards the mountains. Druids Heath may sit alongside one of Ireland’s best-known parkland courses, but it has a strong personality of its own.
