Located just 10 minutes east of the centre of Bruges, the Damme Golf and Country Club is an exciting challenge for every standard of golfer.

This 18-hole golf course features several natural obstacles and is fantastic challenge. Players are often faced with the decision to play for position or test out the obstacles from the tee.

The fairly flat parkland course comprises of numerous natural and water hazards. The course offers a shot selection dilemma on many of the 18-holes, whether to go for broke and battle the continuous hazards or play safe and keep to the fairway. The course is the perfect combination of golf and nature, featuring a picturesque landscape with an abundance of local wildlife roaming the course. The par four, 9th and 18th holes require careful study of the course map as if the ball is hit too far you will find yourself without a ball due to the lake hidden from the tee.

Course Info

The ‘President’s Nine’ consists of a nine hole course designed by Bruno Steensels, the Belgian architect. Opened in 2014, this is a Links course and pushes its players to play past the valleys between sand hills. This course awards a great shot, however due to the abundance of water hazards poor shots are swiftly punished which only adds to the enjoyment of the challenge. The 9 hole ‘Compact Course’ measures a mere 1146 metres and is a perfect play for beginners to play to improve their skills and strategy.
The high standard of practice facilities, the charming ambience and superb cuisine at the club house provide the perfect end to a fabulous round of golf. The facilities of the club house are designed to be ideal for all golfers. The 16 bay covered practice included with the 60 metre wide grass practice and the modern teaching facilities provide its visitors with the ideal Belgium golfing experience. Chris Morton, the former PGA number one player and golfing champion assures visitors that the practicing facilities will ‘’fine-tune’’ your technique.
The indoor golf range accommodates golfers for when the weather is being unpredictable. Consequently players will not have their game hindered when wanting to practice putting and bunker shots.
The Damme Golf and Country Club boasts a sophisticated clubhouse, where players can enjoy a brief but satisfying snack or a full meal in the restaurant. No player should miss an opportunity to enjoy a well-earned beverage on the terrace enjoying the sun.
