Río Real Golf & Hotel is a boutique hotel set beside the Río Real Golf Course, just minutes from the centre of Marbella. Offering a quiet, residential setting, it combines direct access to golf with easy reach of the coast, beaches, and Old Town.
The hotel features spacious, comfortable rooms, many with terraces overlooking the course or gardens, along with an outdoor pool, restaurant, and relaxed communal areas. Its small scale and friendly service make it a practical and comfortable base for a golf-focused stay on the Costa del Sol.
Rio Real Golf Course
Río Real Golf is a well-established, traditional golf course that focuses on solid design and consistent playing conditions rather than resort-style features. The layout is straightforward to follow, with wide-to-moderate fairways, gentle elevation changes, and mature trees. While the course is playable for mid-handicap golfers, it rewards good positioning off the tee and accurate approach shots into greens that are subtly contoured and well protected.
The Clubhouse
The clubhouse is practical, comfortable, and easy-going. It includes a pro shop, changing facilities, and a bar and restaurant with terrace seating overlooking parts of the course. It’s a relaxed place to arrive early for a coffee or stay after a round for food and a drink, reflecting the club’s local feel rather than a high-end resort atmosphere.
