South Wales Golf Holidays

The jewel in the crown is the famous Celtic Manor Resort and the three onsite courses found here. The 2010 course, a former host of the Ryder Cup is the standout course, however the Montgomerie and Roman Road are excellent tracks and would make a great three course package.

The Vale Resort, located on the outskirts of Cardiff, features 2 cracking courses and is the perfect base for a short golf weekend. Finally Marriott St Pierre is located just across the Welsh boarder and comes highly regarded from every golfer that challenges the Mathern and the Old Course.

Just returned from two really enjoyable weeks in Islantilla. Though the hotel has been taken over by Hilton, the staff are all retained and nothing is too much trouble. Can't fault the facilities, the food, the clubhouse, and the three courses are a joy, (extra balls for hole 2 on the blue course). The whole holiday went so smoothly and we can't speak highly enough of the friendly help and excellent communications from Golf Escapes with all aspects of the holiday. Wouldn't bother to book with anyone else.

A great location which suited us all, the hotel was clean and the staff most welcoming and helpful. The food is great and lots of choices and as much as you like. The golf courses were challenging in their own way but in good condition and we would be happy to play both North and South again.
