Costa Adeje is easily one of Tenerife’s best courses, designed by the talented Spanish golf architect Pepe Gancedo who made beautiful use of the natural terrain, and a number of old agricultural stone walls, to create this absolute gem.

Signature Hole: 7th

This par-3 hole measures at 187 yards, but not only do you have its relatively longer length to tackle. In order to reach the green, you have to make a shot across a “barranca”, or gorge. Understandably, this hole has been assigned a stroke index 1 on the score card.

The par-3, 15th hole features a challenging shot, high above the ocean, over a cliff edge. The 10th hole has a tricky shot off of the tee, down a narrow fairway but both holes will provide excellent views!

The par-3 5th hole is set against a beautiful oceanic backdrop with a water hazard guarding the green, making it blend seamlessly into its surroundings. The par-4, 18th hole also deserves a mention for its dramatic flare, a large lake will surround your approach shot so lets hope you don’t go out with a splash!

Abama Golf Course is an outstanding 18-hole championship golf course, offering picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean from every hole. The scenic, par-5 10th hole offers wide sweeping views of the ocean, and a less enjoyable tricky approach shot! The par-3 17th hole demands accuracy and precision with its downhill approach to the green and the lake guarding it!
